In this post i am going to be comparing the different features of 3 social media technologies. The 3 social media technologies I am going to be comparing are: Social networks; Reviews & Ratings; Video.
I have decided to compare these technologies as they are all quite different to one another.

Social networks have features such as: Uploading content (such as photos and videos), sharing thoughts, Creating your own profile, sharing content you follow, following others, posting live videos and communicating with others through private messenger. |
| Reviews & Ratings | The main use for Reviews & Ratings is in the name. It is used to review places, such as restaurants and hotels. It’s good if you want to visit somewhere as you can read about other people’s experiences before visiting for yourself. | Review and Ratings site have some similar features to social networks. Review and ratings sites have features that allow you to give your opinion by comments and also giving ratings -often out of 5. Review and rating sites such as Trip Advisor also allow you to upload photos of locations for other users to see. Some sites ever allow you to message other users, which can be good if you privately want to ask them something about their review. |

People often use Video technologies to watch videos other people have posted, such as music videos. People also create their own videos to upload to these sites. | Video technologies such a Youtube and Vimeo have a few similar features to social media technologies. They allow you to upload video creations, see other peoples videos, comment on peoples videos and for people to comment on your videos. |
